यजुर्वेद 13.14

यजुर्वेद:
अ॒ग्निर्मू॒र्द्धा दि॒वः क॒कुत्पतिः॑ पृथि॒व्याऽ अ॒यम्। अ॒पा रेता॑सि जिन्वति। इन्द्र॑स्य॒ त्वौज॑सा सादयामि ॥ (१४)
हे अग्नि! आप मूर्धन्य हैं. आप स्वर्गलोक के सब से ऊपरी भाग में प्रतिष्ठित हैं. आप पृथ्वीपालक और जल की पौष्टिकता बढ़ाने वाले हैं. आप को इंद्र देव के ओज से हम यजमान प्रतिष्ठित करते हैं. (१४)
O agni! You are foolish. You are revered in the uppermost part of paradise. You are going to increase the nutrition of earth and water. We honor you as the host with the grace of Indra Dev. (14)
