यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 13)
यु॒क्ष्वा हि दे॑व॒हूत॑माँ॒२ऽ अश्वाँ॑२ऽ अग्ने र॒थीरि॑व। नि होता॑ पू॒र्व्यः स॑दः ॥ (३७)
हे अग्नि! आप हमारे लिए देवताओं को आमंत्रित करने बाले हैं. आप अपने रथ में घोड़े जोतिए. आप चिरकाल से हमारे होता हैं. आप यज्ञ स्थान में विराजिए. (३७)
O agni! You are inviting gods to us. You plough horses in your chariot. You have been ours forever. You sit in the yagna place. (37)
