यजुर्वेद 15.26

अध्याय 15 → मंत्र 26 - संस्कृत मंत्र, हिंदी अर्थ और English translation

यजुर्वेद:
अ॒यमि॒ह प्र॑थ॒मो धा॑यि धा॒तृभि॒र्होता॒ यजि॑ष्ठोऽअध्व॒रेष्वीड्यः॑। यमप्न॑वानो॒ भृग॑वो विरुरु॒चुर्वने॑षु चि॒त्रं वि॒भ्वं वि॒शेवि॑शे ॥ (२६)
अग्नि प्रथम वंदनीय, धारक, होता व यजिष्ठ (यज्ञ करने योग्य) हैं. यज्ञ के लिए इन्हें यज्ञ बेदी पर स्थापित किया गया है. भृगु आदि ऋषियों ने यजमानों के कल्याण के लिए बारबार विलक्षण अग्नि को वनों में प्रज्वलित किया. (२६)
Agni is the first venerable, holder, hota and yajistha (yagya worthy). They have been installed on the Yagya Bedi for yajna. Sages like Bhrigu repeatedly ignited the extraordinary agni in the forests for the welfare of the hosts. (26)
