यजुर्वेद:
नमो॑ विसृ॒जद्भ्यो॒ विद्ध्य॑द्भ्यश्च वो॒ नमो॒ नमः॑ स्व॒पद्भ्यो॒ जाग्र॑द्भ्यश्च वो॒ नमो॒ नमः॒ शया॑नेभ्य॒ऽआसी॑नेभ्यश्च वो॒ नमो॒ नम॒स्तिष्ठ॑द्भ्यो॒ धाव॑द्भ्यश्च वो॒ नमः॑ ॥ (२३)
बाण छोड़ने वाले को नमन. शत्रुवध करने वाले को नमन. सोने वाले को नमन. जागने वाले को नमन. बैठने वाले को नमन. ठहरने वाले को नमन. दौड़ने वाले को नमन. चित्त में विराजमान रुद्र देव को नमन. (२३)
Salutations to the one who agnid the arrow. Salutations to those who kill enemies. Salutations to the sleeper. Salutations to the one who wakes up. Salutations to the one who sits down. Salutations to the one who stays. Salute to the runner. Salutations to Rudra Dev sitting in the mind. (23)
