यजुर्वेद:
नमः॒ कूप्या॑य चाव॒ट्याय च॒ नमो॒ वीध्र्या॑य चात॒प्याय च॒ नमो॒ मेघ्या॑य च विद्यु॒त्याय च॒ नमो॒ वर्ष्या॑य चाव॒र्ष्याय॑ च ॥ (३८)
कुएं में स्थित रहने वाले के लिए नमन. गड्ढे में रहने वाले के लिए नमन. प्रकाश और धूप में रहने वाले के लिए नमन. बादलों में रहने वाले के लिए नमन. विद्युत में रहने वाले के लिए नमन. वर्षा में रहने वाले व अवर्षा में रहने वाले के लिए नमन. (३८)
