अध्याय 18 → मंत्र 47 - संस्कृत मंत्र, हिंदी अर्थ और English translation

यजुर्वेद:
या वो॑ दे॒वाः सूर्ये॒ रुचो॒ गोष्वश्वे॑षु॒ या रुचः॑। इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ ताभिः॒ सर्वा॑भी॒ रुचं॑ नो धत्त बृहस्पते ॥ (४७)
जो देवगण सूर्य के प्रकाश से ज्योतिमान हैं, जो प्रकाश गायों में विद्यमान है, जो प्रकाश घोड़ों में विद्यमान है, इंद्र देव उन से हम सभी को चमकाएं. इंद्र देव उसे हम सभी के लिए धारण करें. अग्नि व बृहस्पति व उसे हम सभी के लिए धारण करें. (४७)
May Indra Dev shine all of us with the gods who are illuminated by the light of the sun, the light that is present in the cows, the light that is present in horses. May Indra Dev hold him for all of us. Fire and Jupiter and wear it for all of us. (47)
