यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 2)
वे॒दोऽसि॒ येन॒ त्वं दे॑व वेद दे॒वेभ्यो॑ वे॒दोऽभ॑व॒स्तेन॒ मह्यं॑ वे॒दो भूयाः॑। देवा॑ गातुविदो गा॒तुं वि॒त्त्वा गा॒तुमि॑त। मन॑सस्पतऽइ॒मं दे॑व य॒ज्ञꣳ स्वाहा॒ वाते॑ धाः ॥ (२१)
हे देवगण! आप ज्ञानमय हैं. आप हमें भी ज्ञानवान बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. आप हमारे लिए ज्ञान स्वरूप होइए. हम आप के गुण गाते हैं. आप मन के पालक हैं. यह यज्ञ देवों को समर्पित है. आप के लिए स्वाहा. वायु इस यज्ञ को धारण कर के इस का विस्तार करने की कृपा करें. (२१)
O Gods! You are knowledgeable. Please make us knowledgeable too. You be a form of knowledge for us. We sing the virtues of you. You are the guardian of the mind. This yajna is dedicated to the gods. Swaha for you. Please wear this yajna and expand it. (21)
