यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 2)
वी॒तिहो॑त्रं त्वा कवे द्यु॒मन्त॒ꣳ समि॑धीमहि। अग्ने॑ बृ॒हन्त॑मध्व॒रे ॥ (४)
हे अग्नि! आप यज्ञ में प्रमुख हैं. आप विशाल, तेजस्वी, कवि व भूत और भविष्य को जानने वाले हैं. हम समिधा से आप को प्रज्वलित करते हैं. (४)
O agni! You are prominent in the yajna. You are huge, stunning, poet and know the past and the future. We ignite you with samidha. (4)
