यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 23)
प्रा॒णाय॒ स्वाहा॑पा॒नाय॒ स्वाहा॑ व्या॒नाय॒ स्वाहा॑। अम्बे॒ऽअम्बि॒केऽम्बा॑लिके॒ न मा॑ नयति॒ कश्च॒न। सस॑स्त्यश्व॒कः सुभ॑द्रिकां काम्पीलवा॒सिनी॑म् ॥ (१८)
प्राण के लिए स्वाहा. अपान के लिए स्वाहा. प्राण के लिए स्वाहा. हे अंबे! हे अंबिके! आप हमें किसी अप्रिय स्थिति में न ले जाएं. हे अंबालिके! आप हमें किसी अप्रिय स्थिति में न ले जाएं. ठंडी अग्नि कांपील पेड़ की समिधाओं पर पड़ी है. ठंडी अग्नि श्रेष्ठ हवियों के साथ ठंडी पड़ी हुई है. (१८)
