यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 23)
पृ॒च्छामि॑ त्वा चि॒तये॑ देवसख॒ यदि॒ त्वमत्र॒ मन॑सा ज॒गन्थ॑।येषु॒ विष्णु॑स्त्रि॒षु प॒देष्वेष्ट॒स्तेषु॒ विश्वं॒ भुव॑न॒मावि॑वेशाँ३ऽ ॥ (४९)
हे देवसखाओ! हम जिज्ञासु हैं. हम मन से आप से पूछते हैं कि क्या विष्णु ने अपने तीन पैरों में विशव के सभी भुवनों को समा लिया ? क्या तीनों लोक विष्णु के पैरों में (की परिधि में) समा गए. यदि आप इस बात को जानते हैं तो हमें बताने की कृपा कीजिए. (४९)
O God! We are curious. We ask you from the bottom of our hearts, did Vishnu absorb all the bhuvanas of the world in his three legs? Did the three worlds merge (at the periphery) of Vishnu's feet? If you know this, please let us know. (49)
