यजुर्वेद:
दे॒वानां॑ भ॒द्रा सु॑म॒तिर्ऋ॑जूय॒तां दे॒वाना॑ रा॒तिर॒भि नो॒ निव॑र्त्तताम्।दे॒वाना॑ स॒ख्यमुप॑सेदिमा व॒यं दे॒वा न॒ऽआयुः॒ प्रति॑रन्तु जी॒वसे॑ ॥ (१५)
देवगणों की उत्तम बुद्धि हमारे लिए कल्याणकारिणी हो. देवगणों की सरलता हमारे लिए कल्याणकारिणी हो. देवगणों का दान हमारे लिए अनुकूल हो. देवगणों की मित्रता हम को मिले. हम उस मित्रता से लाभ पाएं. हम देवताओं से दीर्घ आयु प्राप्त कर जीएं. (१५)
May the good wisdom of the Gods be beneficial for us. May the simplicity of the gods be beneficial for us. May the donation of devgans be favorable for us. May we get the friendship of the Devgans. Let us benefit from that friendship. May we live long life from the gods. (15)
