यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 9)
दे॒वस्या॒हꣳ स॑वि॒तुः स॒वे स॒त्यप्र॑सवसो॒ बृह॒स्पते॑र्वाज॒जितो॒ वाजं॑ जेषम्। वाजि॑नो वाज॒जि॒तोऽध्व॑न स्कभ्नु॒वन्तो॒ योज॑ना॒ मिमा॑नाः॒ काष्ठां॑ गच्छत ॥ (१३)
सविता देव! सत्य मार्ग के प्रेरक व सभी को प्रकाशित करने बाले है. युद्ध में बिजयी होने वाले बृहस्पति देव का बल पा कर हम भी युद्ध में विजय पाएं. हमारे बलशाली घोड़े बहुत वेगवान हैं. उन की कृपा से हम युद्ध में विजय पाते हैं. हम शत्रुओं का मार्ग रोक कर इन्हीं घोड़ों के कारण कोसों की दूरी नापते हैं. सीमा के पार पहुंच सकते हैं. Savita Dev! Truth is the motivator of the path and the illuminating of all. By getting the strength of Jupiter, who is busy in the war, we also win the war. Our strong horses are very fast. By his grace, we win the war. We stop the path of enemies and measure the distance of the kos due to these horses. can reach across the border. (13)
