सांपों की ये इक्कीस जातियां देवों के समान बुढ़ापे से रहित हैं एवं नागलोक में निवास करती हैं. इन सांपों की केंचुली जरायु के समान उन से लिपटी रहती है. सांपों की उस केंचुली के द्वारा हम दूसरों का अहित सोचने वाले शत्रुओं की आंखों को ढकते हैं. (१)

शिव के धनुष पिनाक के समान शत्रुओं के मारने में सक्षम आयुध धारण करती हुई, खड्ग आदि आयुधों से शत्रुओं को फाड़ती हुई हमारी सेना मारकाट मचाती हुई आगे बढ़े. यदि शत्रु सेना उस का सामना करने के लिए एकत्र हो, तो शत्रु सैनिकों का मन कुछ सोचने और निश्चय करने में समर्थ न हो. ऐसी स्थिति में हमारे शन्रु राष्ट्र, कोश आदि से रहित हो जाएं. हाथी, घोड़े और रथों से युक्त बहुत से शत्रु सैनिक हमें जीतने में असमर्थ हो कर हार जाएं. अल्प संख्या वाले शत्रु हमारे सामने आने का साहस न कर सकें. बांस की ऊपरी शाखाएं जिस प्रकार दुर्बल होती हैं, हम से पराजित हो कर धनहीन बने शत्रु उसी प्रकार समृद्धि रहित हो जाएं. (३)

हे चलने के इच्छुक व्यक्ति के चरणो! तुम आगे बढ़ो एवं शीघ्र चलने के लिए गति करो. तुम हमें इच्छित फल देने वाले पुरुष के निवास स्थान तक पहुंचाओ. किसी से पराजित न होने वाले इंद्र की पत्नी हमारी सेना की देवता हैं. वह हमारी सेना की रक्षा के लिए आगेआगे चलें. (४)
