अथर्ववेद (कांड 19)
संसं॑ स्रवन्तु न॒द्यः सं वाताः॒ सं प॑त॒त्रिणः॑ । य॒ज्ञमि॒मं व॑र्धयता गिरः संस्रा॒व्येण ह॒विषा॑ जुहोमि ॥ (१)
नाद करती हुई सरिताएं भलीभांति प्रवाहित हों. वायु हमारे अनुकूल बहे. पक्षी आदि सभी प्राणी हमारे अनुकूल आचरण करें. हे स्तुति किए जाते हुए देवो! जिस यजमान के निमित्त यह यज्ञ रूप शांति कर्म किया जा रहा है, तुम पुत्र, पशु आदि से उस की वृद्धि करो. मैं आप देवों के उद्देश्य से घृत, क्षीर आदि से युक्त हवि की अग्नि में आहुति देता हूं. (१)
The streams flow well while sounding. Let the air flow in our favour. All creatures like birds etc. behave according to us. O God of praise! For the host for whom this yajna form of peace work is being done, you should increase it with sons, animals etc. I offer in the agni of Havi containing Ghee, Ksheer etc. for the purpose of you gods. (1)

इ॒मं हो॑मा य॒ज्ञम॑वते॒मं सं॑स्रावणा उ॒त । य॒ज्ञमि॒मं व॑र्धयता गिरः संस्रा॒व्येण ह॒विषा॑ जुहोमि ॥ (२)
हे आहुतियो! तुम इस यज्ञ की रक्षा करो. हे घृत, क्षीर आदि! तुम इस यज्ञ का पालन करो. हे देवो! फल की कामना वाले इस यजमान की रक्षा करो. इस यजमान की पुत्र, पशु आदि से वृद्धि करो. मैं आप देवों के उद्देश्य से घृत, क्षीर आदि से युक्त हवि की अग्नि में आहुति देता हूं. (२)
O Ahutio! You protect this yajna. O Ghrit, Ksheer etc! You follow this yajna. O God! Protect this host who desires fruit. Increase this host from sons, animals, etc. I offer in the agni of Havi containing Ghee, Ksheer etc. for the purpose of you gods. (2)

रू॒पंरू॑पं॒ वयो॑वयः सं॒रभ्यै॑नं॒ परि॑ ष्वजे । य॒ज्ञमि॒मं चत॑स्रः प्र॒दिशो॑ वर्धयन्तु संस्रा॒व्येण ह॒विषा॑ जुहोमि ॥ (३)
मैं फल की कामना करने वाले तथा यज्ञ कर्म के प्रयोजक यजमान को पशु, पुत्र आदि फलों से संबद्ध करता हूं. चारों दिशाएं एवं उन दिशाओं में निवास करने वाले जन इस यजमान को अभिलषित फल प्रदान करें. मैं आप देवों के उद्देश्य से घृत, क्षीर आदि से युक्त हवि की अग्नि में आहुति देता हूं. (३)
I associate the host who desires fruit and is the sponsor of yajna karma with fruits like animals, sons etc. People living in all four directions and those directions should give this host an elated fruit. I offer in the agni of Havi containing Ghee, Ksheer etc. for the purpose of you gods. (3)
अथर्ववेद (कांड 19)
शं त॒ आपो॑ हैमव॒तीः शमु॑ ते सन्तू॒त्स्याः । शं ते॑ सनिष्य॒दा आपः॒ शमु॑ ते सन्तु व॒र्ष्याः ॥ (१)
हे यजमान! हिमवान पर्वत से आए हुए जल, झरनों के जल तथा सदा बहने वाले जल तेरे लिए सुख करने वाले हों. वर्षा के जल भी तेरा कल्याण करने वाले हों. मैं आप देवों के उद्देश्य से घृत, क्षीर आदि से युक्त हवि की अग्ने में आहुति देता हूं. (१)
O host! May the water coming from the Himwan Mountains, the water of the springs and the water flowing all the time be pleasing to you. May the rain water also be beneficial for you. I sacrifice in the agni of havi with hatred, ksheer, etc. for the purpose of you gods. (1)
अथर्ववेद (कांड 19)
शं त॒ आपो॑ धन्व॒न्याः॒ शं ते॑ सन्त्वनू॒प्याः॑ । शं ते॑ खनि॒त्रिमा॒ आपः॒ शं याः कु॒म्भेभि॒राभृ॑ताः ॥ (२)
हे यजमान! मरुस्थल के जल तथा जल वाले प्रदेश के जल तेरे लिए कल्याणकारी हों. कुएं, तालाब आदि के जल तुझे सुख देने वाले बनें. घड़ों के द्वारा लाए गए जल भी तेरा कल्याण करें. (२)
O host! May the waters of the desert and the waters of the waters of the region be welfare for you. May the water of wells, ponds etc. give you happiness. May the water brought by the pitchers also benefit you. (2)
अथर्ववेद (कांड 19)
अ॑न॒भ्रयः॒ खन॑माना॒ विप्रा॑ गम्भी॒रे अ॒पसः॑ । भि॒षग्भ्यो॑ भि॒षक्त॑रा॒ आपो॒ अच्छा॑ वदामसि ॥ (३)
खोदने के साधनों में कुदाल आदि से रहित एवं लकड़ी, हाथों और पैरों से खोदने में समर्थ एवं असाध्य कमो को भी मंत्र के बल से सिद्ध करने वाले हम मेधावी ब्राह्मण वैद्यों से बढ़ कर वैद्य हैं. हम जलों की वंदना करते हैं. (३)
In the means of digging, we are more vaidyas than meritorious Brahmin vaidyas who are without spades etc. and are able to dig with wood, hands and feet and also prove the impossible people with the strength of mantras. We worship the waters. (3)
अथर्ववेद (कांड 19)
अ॒पामह॑ दि॒व्याना॑म॒पां स्रो॑त॒स्यानाम् । अ॒पामह॑ प्र॒णेज॒नेऽश्वा॑ भवथ वा॒जिनः॑ ॥ (४)
हे ऋत्विजो! तुम आकाश से बरसने वाले, नदियों में बहने वाले तथा अन्य प्रकार के जलों और तेज दौड़ने वाले घोड़ों के समान इस जल शक्ति वाले यज्ञ कर्म में शीघ्रता करने वाले बनो. (४)
O Ritvijo! Be the one who rains from the sky, flows in rivers and as quick in this water-powered yagya karma like other types of water and fast running horses. (4)
अथर्ववेद (कांड 19)
ता अ॒पः शि॒वा अ॒पोऽय॑क्ष्मं॒कर॑णीर॒पः । यथै॒व तृ॑प्यते॒ मय॒स्तास्त॒ आ द॑त्त भेष॒जीः ॥ (५)
हे ऋत्विजो! प्रसिद्ध, कल्याण करने वाले तथा यक्ष्मा आदि रोगों से छुटकारा दिलाने वाले ओषधि रूप जलों को मेरे सुख की वृद्धि के लिए यहां ले आओ. (५)
O Ritvijo! Bring the famous, welfare and medicinal form waters, which relieve diseases like tuberculosis, here for the increase of my happiness. (5)
