काल से जलों की उत्पत्ति हुई. काल से ब्रह्म अर्थात् यज्ञ आदि कर्म, चांद्रायण आदि तप तथा पूर्व आदि दिशाएं उत्पन्न हुई. काल के कारण ही सूर्य उदय होता है तथा काल में ही अस्त हो जाता है. (१)
Water originated from time. From time to time, Brahma i.e. Yajna etc. karma, chandrayan etc. tapa and east etc. directions were generated. Due to time, the sun rises and sets in time itself. (1)
ये अंगिरा देव और अथर्वा ऋषि अधिष्ठित हैं. इस लोक को, परलोक को, पुण्यलोकों को, दुःखरहित लोकधारकों को, सभी कहे गए और बिना कहे गए लोकों को यह ब्रह्म रूप काल व्याप्त कर के उत्तम काल देव सभी स्थावर और जंगम जगत् को उत्पन्न करता है. (५)
These are Angira Dev and Atharva Rishi. By spreading this world, the hereafter, the virtuous world, the people without suffering, all the said and untold worlds, this Brahma form creates all the real and movable worlds. (5)
