चमकती हुई पृश्निपर्णी नाम की जड़ीबूटी हमें सुख प्रदान करे तथा रोग उत्पन्न करने वाली पाप देवता निर्त्ऋति को दुःख दे. मैं ने अत्यधिक शक्तिशाली, पापनाशिनी एवं रोग को पराजित करने वाली जड़ी पृश्निपर्णी को खाया है. (१)

रोगों को पराजित करने वाली पृश्निपर्णी सभी जड़ीबूटियों में प्रमुख बन कर उत्पन्न हुई है. इस के द्वारा मैं दाद, खुजली, कोढ़ आदि रोगों के कारण को इस प्रकार समाप्त करता हूं, जिस प्रकार खड्ग से पक्षी का सिर काटा जाता है. (२)

हे पृश्चिपर्णी नामक जड़ी! मेरे शरीर के रक्त को गिराने वाले कुष्ठ आदि रोगों को, शरीर वृद्धि को रोकने वाले संग्रहणी आदि रोगों को तथा गर्भ को नष्ट करने वाले रोग के उत्पादक कण्व नामक पाप को नष्ट करो एवं मेरे शत्रुओं को पराजित करो. (३)
O herb called Pruschiparni! Destroy the sin of leprosy, etc., which brings down the blood of my body, the accumulators, etc., which prevents the growth of the body, and the sin called kanva, the causative disease that destroys the womb, and defeat my enemies. (3)
गि॒रिमे॑नाँ॒ आ वे॑शय॒ कण्वा॑ञ्जीवित॒योप॑नान् । तांस्त्वं दे॑वि॒ पृश्नि॑पर्ण्य॒ग्निरि॑वानु॒दह॑न्निहि ॥ (४)
हे पृश्निपर्णी नाम की बूटी! प्राणों का नाश करने वाले एवं कुष्ठ आदि रोगों को उत्पन्न करने वाले पाप कण्व को पर्वत की गुफा में घुसा दो. जिस प्रकार अग्नि वन में रहने वाले पशुओं को जला देती है, उसी प्रकार तू पर्वत की गुफा में घुसे हुए पापों को जलाती हुई जा. (४)
O herb named Prishniparni! Let the sin particles that destroy lives and cause diseases like leprosy enter the cave of the mountain. Just as agni burns the animals living in the forest, so you burn the sins that have entered the cave of the mountain. (4)
हे पृश्निपर्णी! प्राणों का नाश करने वाले एवं कोढ़ आदि रोगों को उत्पन्न करने वाले कण्व नामक पापों को पीछे की ओर जाने को विवश कर. मैं भी कुष्ठ आदि रोगों को वहां भेजता हूं, जहां सूर्योदय के बाद अंधकार चला जाता है. (५)
