हे इंद्र! तुम अपरिमित ऐश्वर्य वाले हो. अग्नि के समान पवित्र हमारी वाणियां तुम्हारी वृद्धि करें. हे स्तोताओ! तुम इंद्र के लिए प्रशंसा मंत्रों का उच्चारण करो. (१)
O Indra! You are one of immense opulence. May our words as sacred as agni increase you. O stotao! You chant praise mantras for Indra. (1)
जल के द्वारा बढ़े हुए सागर के समान ये अग्नि ऋषियों द्वारा दी गई हवियों से हजार गुना बढ़ते हैं. मैं इन अग्नि की महिमा का यथार्थ रूप में बखान कर रहा हूं. इन अग्नि का बल यज्ञ में देखने योग्य होता है. (२)
Like the ocean enlarged by water, these agnis grow a thousand times more than the desires given by the sages. I am truly proclaiming the glory of these agnis. The force of these agnis is worth seeing in the yajna. (2)
हे इंद्र! तुम हवि प्राप्त करने योग्य हो. तुम हमें सभी यज्ञों में सुशोभित करो. वृत्र राक्षस को मारने वाले इंद्र ऋचाओं के अनुसार अपना रूप प्रकट करते हैं. वे इंद्र हमारे सूक्तों, हवियों तथा मंत्रों को सुशोभित बनाएं. (३)
O Indra! You are achievable. May you adorn us in all the sacrifices. Indra, who kills the vritra demon, reveals his form according to the richas. May that Indra adorn our suktas, havis and mantras. (3)
