अथर्ववेद (कांड 20)
कस्त्वा॑ स॒त्यो मदा॑नां॒ मंहि॑ष्ठो मत्स॒दन्ध॑सः । दृ॒ढा चि॑दा॒रुजे॒ वसु॑ ॥ (२)
हे इंद्र! हर्ष उत्पन्न करने वाली हवियों में सोम रूप अन्न का कौन सा अंश श्रेष्ठ है, जिस केद्वारा प्रसन्न होते हुए तुम धन को अपने भक्तों में विकीर्ण कर देते हो. (२)
O Indra! Which part of the food in the form of Soma is the best among the desires that produce happiness, by which you, while being pleased, scatter the wealth among your devotees. (2)
