हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम हमारे रक्षक के रूप में आओ. तुम हमारे घर की रक्षा करते हुए हमें मिलो. तुम हमारे पुत्र, पौत्र आदि के रूप में हमें प्राप्त होओ तथा संसार की रक्षा करने वाले हो कर हम से मिलो. (१)
O Ashchini Kumaro! You come as our protector. Meet us while you protect our house. May you receive us as our sons, grandsons, etc. and meet us as protectors of the world. (1)
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम इंद्र के रथ में उन के साथ बैठ कर चलते हो. तुम वायु के साथ चलने वाले, आदित्य और ऋभुओं, स्नेही तथा विष्णु के विक्रमणों अर्थात् डगों से भी युक्त हो. (२)
O Ashwinikumaro! You sit with him in Indra's chariot and walk. You are also full of the vikramas of Aditya and The Rainbows, the loving and the wicked ones of Vishnu. (2)
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम यजमानों को शीघ्रता से प्राप्त होते ही युद्ध में अपनी उत्तम रक्षण शक्ति से शत्रु का वध करते हो. मैं तुम्हें अन्न प्राप्त करने के लिए बुलाता हूं. (३)
O Ashchini Kumaro! As soon as you get the hosts quickly, you kill the enemy with your good protective power in battle. I call you to get food. (3)
