यस्मि॑न्नु॒क्थानि॒ रण्य॑न्ति॒ विश्वा॑नि च श्रवस्या । अ॒पामवो॒ न स॑मु॒द्रे ॥ (२)
जिस प्रकार नीचे की ओर बहने वाले जल सागर में जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार उक्थ मंत्रों के द्वारा अन्न की इच्छा से किए जाने वाले यज्ञ इंद्र को प्राप्त होते हैं. (२)
Just as the water flowing downwards goes into the ocean, in the same way, indra gets the yajna done by the desire of food through ukth mantras. (2)
मैं इंद्र को अपनी स्तुति से प्रसन्न करता हूं. इंद्र तेजस्वी शत्रुओं का भी हनन करने वाले हैं. वे स्तुति करने वालों को अन्न तथा यश प्रदान करते हैं. मैं इंद्र को हवि भी प्रदान करता हूं. (३)
I please Indra with my praise. Indra is also going to violate the bright enemies. They give food and fame to those who praise. I also provide havi to Indra. (3)
