अथर्ववेद (कांड 20)
इन्द्रो॑ दी॒र्घाय॒ चक्ष॑स॒ आ सूर्यं॑ रोहयद्दि॒वि । वि गोभि॒रद्रि॑मैरयत् ॥ (६)
इंद्र ने सूर्य को आकाश में इसलिए स्थापित किया कि सब लोग उन का दर्शन कर सकें. वे ही इंद्र सूर्य के रूप में मेघों का भेदन करते हैं. (६)
Indra installed the sun in the sky so that everyone could see him. They are the ones who penetrate the clouds in the form of Indra Sun. (6)
