अथर्ववेद (कांड 20)
तुभ्येदि॒मा सव॑ना शूर॒ विश्वा॒ तुभ्यं॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि॒ वर्ध॑ना कृणोमि । त्वं नृभि॒र्हव्यो॑ वि॒श्वधा॑सि ॥ (१)
हे वीर इंद्र! यज्ञ के सभी सवन तुम्हारे निमित्त हों. तुम्हारे निमित्त ही मैं उन मंत्रों का पाठ करता हूं. तुम सब के पोषक एवं आह्वान के योग्य हो. (१)
O heroic Indra! May all the songs of yajna be for you. It is for you that I recite those mantras. You are worthy of all the nourishment and call. (1)
