अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 96
हृद॑यात्ते॒ परि॑ क्लो॒म्नो हली॑क्ष्णात्पा॒र्श्वाभ्या॑म् । यक्ष्मं॒ मत॑स्नाभ्यां प्ली॒ह्नो य॒क्नस्ते॒ वि वृ॑हामसि ॥ (१९)
हे रोगी! मैं तेरे हृदय से यक्ष्मा रोग को निकालता हूं. हृदय के समीप स्थित कलोम से, हलीक्ष्य से, पित्ताशय से, पारश्चो से, प्लीहा अर्थात्‌ तिल्ली से, यकृत से और तेरे उदर से भी तेरे यक्ष्मा रोग को नष्ट करता हूं. (१९)
O patient! I remove tuberculosis from your heart. I destroy your tuberculosis from the kalom located near the heart, from the halikhya, from the gall bladder, from the side, from the spleen, from the liver and also from your stomach. (19)
