अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 127
यौ ते॑ बलास॒ तिष्ठ॑तः॒ कक्षे॑ मु॒ष्कावप॑श्रितौ । वेदा॒हं तस्य॑ भेष॒जं ची॒पुद्रु॑रभि॒चक्ष॑णम् ॥ (२)
हे खांसी और सांस रोग! तेरे विसर्पक आदि रूप कांख अर्थात्‌ बगल में विदध्रि नाम के विशेष घाव के रूप में स्थित रहते हैं तथा अंडकोषों में आश्रय लेते हैं. मैं उन की ओषधि जानता हूं, चीपुद्र नाम का विशेष वृक्ष इसे मिटाने वाली ओषधि है. (२)
