हे इंद्र और पूषादेव! हमारी रक्षा करो. देवमाता अदिति हमारी रक्षा करें. उनचास मरुद्गण हमारी रक्षा करें. अपानपात अर्थात् जल को ईधन बनाने वाले अग्नि देव एवं सात सागर हमारी रक्षा करें. विष्णु एवं आकाश हमारी रक्षा करें. आहवनीय अग्नि और अग्नि की सुखकर तथा राक्षसों द्वारा दिए हुए दुःख से रक्षक किरणें हमारी रक्षा करें. O Indra and Pushadeva! Protect us. Devmata Aditi protect us. Let the forty-nine marudas protect us. May the agni god and the seven oceans, who make water fuel, protect us. May Vishnu and sky protect us. May the happy rays of the callous agni and agni and the protectors protect us from the suffering given by the demons. (1)
द्यावा और पृथ्वी अभिमत फल पाने के लिए हमारी रक्षा करें. सोमरस कुचलने का पत्थर और सोमरस पाप से हमारी रक्षा करे. सौभाग्ययुक्त देवी सरस्वती हमारी रक्षा करे. अग्नि हमारी रक्षा करे, जिनकी किरणें हमें पवित्र करती हैं. (२)

हे दानादि गुणयुक्त एवं दीप्त तेज वाले आश्विनीकुमारो! हे दिन और रात के अधिष्ठाता देवो! हमारी रक्षा करो. अपानपात अर्थात् मेघों के जल को बढ़ाने वाले अग्नि राक्षस आदि की हिंसा से हमें बचाएं. हे त्वष्टा देव! सभी फलों की प्राप्ति के लिए हमें बढ़ाओ. (३)
