सभी देवों में श्रेष्ठ इंद्र को मैं अभीष्ट फल पाने के लिए स्तुति आदि से प्रसन्न करता हूं. हे इंद्र! अधिक वर्षा जिस प्रकार घास की वृद्धि करती है, उसी प्रकार तुम अभिचार से पीड़ित इस पुरुष के बल और पुत्र, पौत्रादि सहित धन की वृद्धि करो. (१)
I please Indra, the best of all gods, with praise etc. to get the desired results. O Indra! Just as more rain increases the grass, so increase the strength of this man suffering from desire and wealth including son, grandson. (1)
हे अग्नि और सोम! इस यजमान में बल स्थापित करो और इसे धन प्रदान करो. तुम इस यजमान को जनपद के उच्च वर्ग का सदस्य बनाओ. इस फल को पाने के लिए मैं उत्तम यज्ञ कर्म करता हूं. (२)
O Agni and Soma! Establish force in this host and give it money. You make this host a member of the upper class of the district. To get this fruit, I do the best yajna karma. (2)
हे इंद्र! मेरे समान गोत्र वाला अथवा मुझ से भिन्न गोत्र वाला जो शत्रु मेरा विनाश करना चाहता है, इन दोनों प्रकार के शत्रुओं को सोम अभिषव करने वाले यजमान के वश में करो (३)
O Indra! The one with a tribe like me or a tribe other than me who wants to destroy me, subdue these two types of enemies under the host who curses soma (3)
