या ओष॑धयः॒ सोम॑राज्ञीर्ब॒ह्वीः श॒तवि॑चक्षणाः । बृह॒स्पति॑प्रसूता॒स्ता नो॑ मुञ्च॒न्त्वंह॑सः ॥ (१)
जिन वृक्षों और वनस्पतियों के राजा सोम हैं तथा जो रस, वीर्य आदि के विपाक के कारण सैकड़ों प्रकार की दिखाई देती हैं, बृहस्पति देव के द्वारा उन रोगों की ओषधि के रूप में नियत वे वनस्पतियां हमें पाप से बचाएं. (१)
May the trees and flora of which are soma the king and which appear hundreds of types due to the vipak of juice, semen etc., those vegetation destined by Jupiter as the medicine of those diseases should save us from sin. (1)
मु॒ञ्चन्तु॑ मा शप॒थ्या॒दथो॑ वरु॒ण्यादु॒त । अथो॑ य॒मस्य॒ पड्वी॑शा॒द्विश्व॑स्माद्देवकिल्बि॒षात् ॥ (२)
जल अथवा ओषधियां मुझे ब्राह्मणों के क्रोध से उत्पन्न पाप से बचाएं तथा वरुण देव द्वारा निश्चित असत्य भाषण आदि पाप से भी बचाएं. वे हमें यम के उस फंदे से बचाएं जो पैरों को बांधता है. वे मुझे सभी देवों से संबंधित पापों से बचाएं. (२)
May water or medicines save me from the sins caused by the wrath of Brahmins and also from the sins of untruth speech etc. fixed by Varun Dev. Let them save us from the noose of Yama that binds the feet. May they save me from the sins related to all gods. (2)
हमने आंखों के द्वारा, मन के द्वारा, वाणी के द्वारा जागते हुए अथवा सोते हुए जो पाप किए हैं. पितूलोक के स्वामी सोमदेव पितरों को लक्ष्य कर के किए गए पितृ कर्म के द्वारा हमें पवित्र करें. (३)
The sins we have committed while awake or sleeping through eyes, through mind, speech. May Swami Somdev of Pitulok purify us through the father's work done by targeting the ancestors. (3)
