अपने लोगों के साथ हमारा एकमत हो तथा अनुकूल न बोलने वाले अर्थात् प्रतिकूल पुरुषों के साथ हम समान ज्ञान वाले हों. हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम दोनों इस समय इस विषय में अपने और परायों के साथ हमें एकमत बनाओ. (१)
We should be unanimous with our people and we should have equal knowledge with those who do not speak favorably, that is, with unfavorable men. O Ashchini Kumaro! Both of you make us unanimous with yourself and others on this matter at this time. (1)
सं जा॑नामहै॒ मन॑सा॒ सं चि॑कि॒त्वा मा यु॑ष्महि॒ मन॑सा॒ दैव्ये॑न । मा घोषा॒ उत्स्थु॑र्बहु॒ले वि॒निर्ह॑ते॒ मेषुः॑ पप्त॒दिन्द्र॒स्याह॒न्याग॑ते ॥ (२)
हम अपने मन के साथ दूसरों के मन को संयुक्त करें और जाग कर दूसरों के कार्यो से संगत बनें. हम देव संबंधी मन अर्थात् देवों के प्रति श्रद्धा रखने वाले मन के कारण दूसरों से अलग न हों. अधिक कुटिलता संबंधी शब्द न उठें. दिन निकलने पर इंद्र के वज्र के समान मर्मवेधी वाणी हमें सुनाई न दे. (२)
We should combine the mind of others with our mind and wake up and become compatible with the actions of others. We should not be separated from others due to the mind related to God i.e. the mind that has reverence for the gods. Don't get up with words about too much crookedness. When the day comes out, we should not hear the voice of Indra like a thunderbolt. (2)
