ऋग्वेद (मंडल 1)
त॒तं मे॒ अप॒स्तदु॑ तायते॒ पुनः॒ स्वादि॑ष्ठा धी॒तिरु॒चथा॑य शस्यते । अ॒यं स॑मु॒द्र इ॒ह वि॒श्वदे॑व्यः॒ स्वाहा॑कृतस्य॒ समु॑ तृप्णुत ऋभवः ॥ (१)
हे ऋभुओ! मैंने बार-बार अग्निष्टोम आदि का पहले अनुष्ठान किया है एवं इस समय पुनः कर रहा हूं. उस में तुम्हारी प्रशंसा के लिए अतिशय प्रसन्नताकारक स्तोत्र पढ़ा जा रहा है. इस यज्ञ में सभी देवों के लिए पर्याप्त सोमरस संपादित है. तुम स्वाहा शब्द के साथ अग्नि में डाले गए सोम को पीकर तृप्त बनो. (१)
Hey, Lord! I have repeatedly performed the first ritual of Agnishtoma etc. and at this time I am doing it again. In that you are being read the most delightful hymn for your praise. In this yajna there is enough somras edited for all the gods. Be satiated by drinking the mon poured into the fire with the word swaha. (1)

आ॒भो॒गयं॒ प्र यदि॒च्छन्त॒ ऐत॒नापा॑काः॒ प्राञ्चो॒ मम॒ के चि॑दा॒पयः॑ । सौध॑न्वनासश्चरि॒तस्य॑ भू॒मनाग॑च्छत सवि॒तुर्दा॒शुषो॑ गृ॒हम् ॥ (२)
हे ऋभुओ! तुम प्राचीन काल में अपरिपक्व ज्ञान वाले एवं मेरे जातीय बंधु थे. उस समय तुमने उपभोग के योग्य सोमरस की इच्छा की थी. हे सुधन्वा के पुत्रो! उस समय तुमने अपने तप से उपार्जित महत्त्व द्वारा ऐसे सविता के घर गमन किया था, जिसे सोमपान दिया जा चुका था. (२)
Hey, Lord! You were immature knowledge and my ethnic brother in ancient times. At that time you wished for somers worthy of consumption. O sons of Sudhanva! At that time, you had gone to the house of savita, who had been given sompan, by the importance earned from your penance. (2)

तत्स॑वि॒ता वो॑ऽमृत॒त्वमासु॑व॒दगो॑ह्यं॒ यच्छ्र॒वय॑न्त॒ ऐत॑न । त्यं चि॑च्चम॒समसु॑रस्य॒ भक्ष॑ण॒मेकं॒ सन्त॑मकृणुता॒ चतु॑र्वयम् ॥ (३)
हे ऋभु.ओ! उस समय सविता ने तुम्हारे अभिमुख होकर अमरता दी थी, जिस समय तुम सबके द्वारा दृश्यमान सविता को अपनी सोमपान की इच्छा बताते हुए आए थे एवं त्वष्टा के सोमपान के साधन के चार टुकड़े कर दिए थे. (३)
O Lord.o! At that time Savita gave immortality by being in your direction, at which time you came to tell savita, visible through all of you, telling her the desire of your sompan and cut the means of the sompan of the skin into four pieces. (3)

वि॒ष्ट्वी शमी॑ तरणि॒त्वेन॑ वा॒घतो॒ मर्ता॑सः॒ सन्तो॑ अमृत॒त्वमा॑नशुः । सौ॒ध॒न्व॒ना ऋ॒भवः॒ सूर॑चक्षसः संवत्स॒रे सम॑पृच्यन्त धी॒तिभिः॑ ॥ (४)
ऋत्विजों के साथ मिले हुए ऋभुओं ने शीघ्र ही यज्ञ, दान आदि कर्म करके मरणधर्मा होते हुए भी अमरता प्राप्त की थी. उस समय सुधन्वा के पुत्र एवं सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी तऋभुओं ने संवत्सर पर्यंत चलने वाले यज्ञों में अधिकार प्राप्त किया था. (४)
The sages who had joined the ritvajas had soon attained immortality even though they were dying by doing yajna, daan, etc. At that time, the sons of Sudhanva and the bright tambhus like the Sun had gained authority in the yagnas that lasted till Samvatsar. (4)

क्षेत्र॑मिव॒ वि म॑मु॒स्तेज॑नेन॒ँ एकं॒ पात्र॑मृ॒भवो॒ जेह॑मानम् । उप॑स्तुता उप॒मं नाध॑माना॒ अम॑र्त्येषु॒ श्रव॑ इ॒च्छमा॑नाः ॥ (५)
जिस प्रकार नापने का बांस लेकर खेत नापा जाता है, उसी प्रकार समीपस्थ ऋषियों द्वारा स्तुत ऋभुओं ने प्रशंसनीय सोम की याचना करके एवं मरणरहित देवों के बीच में हव्य की इच्छा करके तीक्ष्ण अस्त्र द्वारा चमस नाम के यज्ञपात्र को चार भागों में बांटा था. (५)
Just as the field is measured by taking the bamboo of measuring, the sages praised by the nearby sages, by pleading for the admirable Som and wishing for havan among the dying-free gods, divided the yajnapatra named Chamas into four parts by the sharp weapon. (5)

आ म॑नी॒षाम॒न्तरि॑क्षस्य॒ नृभ्यः॑ स्रु॒चेव॑ घृ॒तं जु॑हवाम वि॒द्मना॑ । त॒र॒णि॒त्वा ये पि॒तुर॑स्य सश्चि॒र ऋ॒भवो॒ वाज॑मरुहन्दि॒वो रजः॑ ॥ (६)
हम अंतरिक्ष संबंधी यज्ञ को नेता ऋभु.ओं को खुच नामक पात्र के समान घी से भरा हुआ हव्य देने के साथ ही ज्ञान भरी स्तुति करते हैं. उन्होंने जगतपालक सूर्य के समान संसार को पार करने की कुशलता एवं स्वर्गलोक का अन्न प्राप्त किया था. (६)
We praise the space-related yajna with knowledge as well as giving the leader sages a hand full of ghee like a character called khuch. He had the skill of crossing the world like the earthly sun and the food of paradise. (6)

ऋ॒भुर्न॒ इन्द्रः॒ शव॑सा॒ नवी॑यानृ॒भुर्वाजे॑भि॒र्वसु॑भि॒र्वसु॑र्द॒दिः । यु॒ष्माकं॑ देवा॒ अव॒साह॑नि प्रि॒ये॒३॒॑ऽभि ति॑ष्ठेम पृत्सु॒तीरसु॑न्वताम् ॥ (७)
बल के कारण अतिप्रसिद्ध ऋभुगण हमारे ईश्वर हैं. हमें अन्न एवं धन के देने वाले ऋभु निवास के कारण हैं, इसलिए वे हमें वरदान दें. हे देवो! हम तुम्हारी रक्षा के कारण अनुकूल दिन में सोमाभिषवरहित शत्रुओं को हरा दें. (७)
Because of the force, the most famous sages are our Gods. The sages who give us food and money are due to niwas, so they give us boons. Oh, God! Let us defeat the enemies without somabhishava in a favorable day because of your defense. (7)
ऋग्वेद (मंडल 1)
निश्चर्म॑ण ऋभवो॒ गाम॑पिंशत॒ सं व॒त्सेना॑सृजता मा॒तरं॒ पुनः॑ । सौध॑न्वनासः स्वप॒स्यया॑ नरो॒ जिव्री॒ युवा॑ना पि॒तरा॑कृणोतन ॥ (८)
हे ऋभु.ओ! तुमने चमड़े के द्वारा गाय को आच्छादित करके पुनः उसके बछड़े से मिला दिया था. हे सुधन्वा के पुत्रो एवं यज्ञ के नेताओ! तुमने शोभन कर्म की इच्छा से अपने वृद्ध माता-पिता को पुनः युवा बना दिया है. (८)
O Lord.o! You covered the cow with leather and mixed it with its calf again. O sons of Sudhanva and leaders of the yajna! You have made your aged parents young again with the desire of shobhan karma. (8)
