तद्वां॑ नरा॒ शंस्यं॑ पज्रि॒येण॑ क॒क्षीव॑ता नासत्या॒ परि॑ज्मन् । श॒फादश्व॑स्य वा॒जिनो॒ जना॑य श॒तं कु॒म्भाँ अ॑सिञ्चतं॒ मधू॑नाम् ॥ (६)
हे नेता रूप नासत्यो! अभीष्ट प्राप्ति के कारण कहे जाने वाले अनुष्ठान के समान ही मैं अंगिरावंशी कक्षीवान्‌ तुम्हारे यज्ञ की प्रतिज्ञा करता हूं. तुमने वेगवान्‌ घोड़ों के खुरों से निकले हुए मधु से अपेक्षित लोगों के लिए सैकड़ों घड़े भर दिए थे. (६)
