ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 141
आदिन्मा॒तॄरावि॑श॒द्यास्वा शुचि॒रहिं॑स्यमान उर्वि॒या वि वा॑वृधे । अनु॒ यत्पूर्वा॒ अरु॑हत्सना॒जुवो॒ नि नव्य॑सी॒ष्वव॑रासु धावते ॥ (५)
दूसरों द्वारा बिना सताए हुए अग्नि, जिन माता रूपी दिशाओं के बीच वृद्धि को प्राप्त हुए हैं, प्रकाशित होते हुए उन्हीं में प्रविष्ट होते हैं. अग्नि स्थापन के समय जो ओषधियां डाली थीं, अग्नि उन पर चढ़ गए थे. इस समय वे नई डाली गई ओषधियों की ओर दौड़ते हैं (५)
The fires that have been persecuted by others, which have attained growth between the mother-like directions, are illuminated and enter into them.
