दे॒वान्वा॒ यच्च॑कृ॒मा कच्चि॒दागः॒ सखा॑यं वा॒ सद॒मिज्जास्प॑तिं वा । इ॒यं धीर्भू॑या अव॒यान॑मेषां॒ द्यावा॒ रक्ष॑तं पृथिवी नो॒ अभ्वा॑त् ॥ (८)
हे धरती और आकाश! हम देवों, बंधुओं एवं जमाता के प्रति नित्य जो अपराध करते हैं, हमारे उन अपराधों को दूर करो. तुम हमें पाप से बचाओ. (८)
O earth and sky! Remove the crimes that we commit against the gods, the brothers and the tribes that we commit on a daily basis, remove those sins of ours. You save us from sin. (8)
