अग्ने॒ पूर्वा॒ अनू॒षसो॑ विभावसो दी॒देथ॑ वि॒श्वद॑र्शतः । असि॒ ग्रामे॑ष्ववि॒ता पु॒रोहि॒तोऽसि॑ य॒ज्ञेषु॒ मानु॑षः ॥ (१०)
हे विशिष्ट प्रकाशवान्‌ एवं धन के स्वामी अग्नि! तुम सबके दर्शनीय हो. तुम अतीतकाल में उषा के पश्चात्‌ प्रकाशित होते रहे हो. तुम गायों के रक्षक, यज्ञ की वेदी के पूर्व दिशा वाले भाग में अब भी स्थित एवं यज्ञकर्ताओं के हितसाधक हो. (१०)
O agni, the master of special light and wealth! You are all visible. You have been published after Usha in the past. You are still the protector of the cows, still located in the eastern part of the altar of the yagna and the benefactor of the yajnakars. (10)
