प्रि॒या प॒दानि॑ प॒श्वो नि पा॑हि वि॒श्वायु॑रग्ने गु॒हा गुहं॑ गाः ॥ (६)
अग्नि सूर्य के समान धरती और अंतरिक्ष को धारण करने के साथ-साथ सार्थक मंत्रों द्वारा आकाश को भी धारण किए हैं. हे संपूर्ण अन्न के स्वामी अग्नि! पशुओं के प्रिय स्थानों की रक्षा करो एवं ऐसे स्थान में जाओ जो गायों के संचार के अयोग्य हो. (६)
