ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 69
उ॒षो न जा॒रो वि॒भावो॒स्रः संज्ञा॑तरूप॒श्चिके॑तदस्मै ॥ (९)
उषा के जार सूर्य के समान प्रकाशयुक्त, निवास योग्य एवं विश्वविदित स्वरूप वाले अग्नि यजमान को जानें. अग्नि की किरणें स्वयं ही हव्य वहन करती हुई एवं यज्ञगृह के द्वार को व्याप्त करती हुई दर्शनीय आकाश में फैलती हैं. (९)
Get to know the agni, who is luminous, habitable and universal in nature like the morning Sun. The rays of agni itself, carrying the fire and spreading through the entrance of the Yagyagriha, spread in the visible sky. (9)
