अषा॑ळ्हं यु॒त्सु पृत॑नासु॒ पप्रिं॑ स्व॒र्षाम॒प्सां वृ॒जन॑स्य गो॒पाम् । भ॒रे॒षु॒जां सु॑क्षि॒तिं सु॒श्रव॑सं॒ जय॑न्तं॒ त्वामनु॑ मदेम सोम ॥ (२१)
हे सोम! हम युद्ध में नित्य विजयी, सेनाओं को विजयी बनाने वाले, स्वर्ग के दाता, जलवर्षक, बल के रक्षक, यज्ञ में प्रादुर्भूत, सुंदर निवास वाले, उत्तम यश वाले एवं शत्रुपराभवकारी तुम्हें लक्ष्य करके प्रसन्न हों. (२१)
Hey Mon! May we be happy to aim at you, who are the eternal victors in war, the conquerors of armies, the givers of heaven, the water yearners, the protectors of force, those who are possessed in yajna, those who are beautiful in residence, those of excellent success and those who are the losers of enemies. (21)
