य॒ज्ञेन॑ य॒ज्ञम॑यजन्त दे॒वास्तानि॒ धर्मा॑णि प्रथ॒मान्या॑सन् । ते ह॒ नाकं॑ महि॒मानः॑ सचन्त॒ यत्र॒ पूर्वे॑ सा॒ध्याः सन्ति॑ दे॒वाः ॥ (१६)
देवों ने मानसिक यज्ञ के द्वारा भौतिक यज्ञ विस्तृत किया, उससे सभी विकारों को धारण करने वाले धर्म सबसे पहले उत्पन्न हुए. जिस स्वर्ग में प्राचीन साध्य एवं देव हैं, उसे उपासक महापुरुष प्राप्त करते हैं. (१६)
The gods detailed the physical yajna through mental yajna, from which the religions that possess all the vices were the first to arise. The heaven in which there are ancient sages and gods, the worshipers receive great men. (16)
