इ॒मां प्र॒त्नाय॑ सुष्टु॒तिं नवी॑यसीं वो॒चेय॑मस्मा उश॒ते श‍ृ॒णोतु॑ नः । भू॒या अन्त॑रा हृ॒द्य॑स्य नि॒स्पृशे॑ जा॒येव॒ पत्य॑ उश॒ती सु॒वासाः॑ ॥ (१३)
प्राचीन एवं स्तुतियों की कामना करने वाले इस अग्नि के लिए मैं अत्यंत नवीन एवं शोभन स्तुतियां बोलता हूं. अग्नि उन्हें सुनें. जिस प्रकार पति की कामना करने वाली एवं शोभन वस्त्रो से युक्त नारी पति के हृदय से अपना शरीर मिलाती है, उसी प्रकार मैं अग्नि के मध्य भाग का स्पर्श करता हूं. (१३)
I speak very innovative and beautiful praises for this agni that wishes for the ancient and the praises. Fire listen to them. Just as a woman who wishes for a husband and has adorned robes joins her body with the husband's heart, so I touch the middle part of the agni. (13)
