त्रिक॑द्रुकेषु महि॒षो यवा॑शिरं तुवि॒शुष्म॑स्तृ॒पत्सोम॑मपिब॒द्विष्णु॑ना सु॒तं यथाव॑शत् । स ईं॑ ममाद॒ महि॒ कर्म॒ कर्त॑वे म॒हामु॒रुं सैनं॑ सश्चद्दे॒वो दे॒वं स॒त्यमिन्द्रं॑ स॒त्य इन्दुः॑ ॥ (१)
पूज्य, परम शक्तिशाली एवं सबको तृप्त करने वाले इंद्र ने पूर्वकाल में की हुई कामना के अनुसार जौ के सत्तुओं से मिला हुआ सोमरस विष्णु के साथ पिया. महान् सोमरस ने इंद्र को महान् कर्म करने की प्रेरणा दी. सत्य एवं दीप्त सोमरस सच्चे एवं दीप्त इंद्र को व्याप्त करे. (१)
The revered, the most powerful and the satiating of all, Indra, drank the somras mixed with barley sattus with Vishnu as per the earlier wish. The great Somras inspired Indra to do great deeds. May the truth and the bright somers permeate the true and the bright Indra. (1)

अध॒ त्विषी॑माँ अ॒भ्योज॑सा॒ क्रिविं॑ यु॒धाभ॑व॒दा रोद॑सी अपृणदस्य म॒ज्मना॒ प्र वा॑वृधे । अध॑त्ता॒न्यं ज॒ठरे॒ प्रेम॑रिच्यत॒ सैनं॑ सश्चद्दे॒वो दे॒वं स॒त्यमिन्द्रं॑ स॒त्य इन्दुः॑ ॥ (२)
इंद्र ने अपने बल से किवि असुर को युद्ध के द्वारा पराजित एवं धरती-आकाश को चारों ओर से पूर्ण किया. इंद्र पिए हुए सोमरस के बल से वृद्धि प्राप्त करते हैं. इंद्र ने आधा सोम अपने पेट में रख लिया और आधा अन्य देवों में बांट दिया. सत्य एवं दीप्त सोमरस सच्चे तथा दीप्त इंद्र को व्याप्त करे. (२)
Indra defeated the Kiwi Asura by his own strength through war and perfected the earth-sky from all around. Indra attains growth by the force of the drunk Somras. Indra put half the som in his stomach and divided half to the other devas. May the truth and the bright somras permeate the true and bright Indra. (2)

सा॒कं जा॒तः क्रतु॑ना सा॒कमोज॑सा ववक्षिथ सा॒कं वृ॒द्धो वी॒र्यैः॑ सास॒हिर्मृधो॒ विच॑र्षणिः । दाता॒ राधः॑ स्तुव॒ते काम्यं॒ वसु॒ सैनं॑ सश्चद्दे॒वो दे॒वं स॒त्यमिन्द्रं॑ स॒त्य इन्दुः॑ ॥ (३)
हे इंद्र! तुम यज्ञ के साथ उत्पन्न हुए हो एवं अपनी शक्ति से विश्व॒ को वहन करना चाहते हो. तुमने वीर कर्मो से वृद्धि प्राप्त करके हिंसकों को हराया एवं भले-बुरे का विचार किया. तुम स्तुतिकर्ता को मनोवांछित धन दो. सत्य एवं दीप्त सोमरस सच्चे एवं तेजस्वी इंद्र को व्याप्त करे. (३)
O Indra! You are born with yajna and want to bear the world with your power. You defeated the violent by gaining growth from heroic deeds and thought of good and evil. You give the desired money to the praiseor. May the truth and the bright somers permeate the true and bright Indra. (3)

तव॒ त्यन्नर्यं॑ नृ॒तोऽप॑ इन्द्र प्रथ॒मं पू॒र्व्यं दि॒वि प्र॒वाच्यं॑ कृ॒तम् । यद्दे॒वस्य॒ शव॑सा॒ प्रारि॑णा॒ असुं॑ रि॒णन्न॒पः । भुव॒द्विश्व॑म॒भ्यादे॑व॒मोज॑सा वि॒दादूर्जं॑ श॒तक्र॑तुर्वि॒दादिष॑म् ॥ (४)
हे सबको नचाने वाले इंद्र! तुम्हारे द्वारा प्राचीन समय में किया गया मानव हितसाधक कर्म स्वर्ग में प्रसिद्ध हुआ, तुमने अपने बल से वृत्र असुर के प्राण हरण करके उसके द्वारा रोका हुआ जल प्रवाहित किया. इंद्र ने अंधकार रूप से समस्त विश्व को व्याप्त करने वाले असुर को अपने बल से नष्ट किया. वे शतक्रतु इंद्र अन्न एवं हव्य प्राप्त करें. (४)
This is Indra who dances to all! The human-benevolent work you did in ancient times became famous in heaven, you took away the life of the Vritra Asura with your own strength and poured the water stopped by him. Indra blindly destroyed the asura who pervaded the whole world with his own force. They get the Shatrattu Indra Anna and Havya. (4)
