शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ । श‍ृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम् ॥ (२२)
धन-प्राप्ति वाले संग्राम में उत्साहपूर्ण, धनवान्‌ सकल-विश्व के नेता, स्तुतियां सुनने वाले, शत्रुओं को भयंकर, युद्धों में राक्षस विनाशकारी एवं शत्रुओं के धन के विजेता इंद्र को हम रक्षा के लिए बुलाते हैं. (२२)
We call indra, the leader of the rich world, the leader of the wealthy world, the hearer of praises, the fierce of the enemies, the demon destroyers in wars and the conqueror of the wealth of the enemies, indra, the leader of the wealth of the enemies. (22)
