महि॑ म॒हे दि॒वे अ॑र्चा पृथि॒व्यै कामो॑ म इ॒च्छञ्च॑रति प्रजा॒नन् । ययो॑र्ह॒ स्तोमे॑ वि॒दथे॑षु दे॒वाः स॑प॒र्यवो॑ मा॒दय॑न्ते॒ सचा॒योः ॥ (२)
हे स्तोता! तुम महान्‌ आकाश एवं महती पृथ्वी के महत्त्व को जानते हुए उनकी स्तुति करो. मेरा मनोरथ सभी भोगों की अभिलाषा करता है. मानवों के यज्ञों में धरती-आकाश की सेवा के इच्छुक देवगण मिलकर स्तुति करने में प्रसन्न होते हैं. (२)
This is the hymn! You must praise them knowing the importance of the great heavens and the great earth. My mind desires all the enjoyments. In the yagnas of human beings, the gods who want to serve the earth and the sky are happy to praise together. (2)
