उ॒षसः॒ पूर्वा॒ अध॒ यद्व्यू॒षुर्म॒हद्वि ज॑ज्ञे अ॒क्षरं॑ प॒दे गोः । व्र॒ता दे॒वाना॒मुप॒ नु प्र॒भूष॑न्म॒हद्दे॒वाना॑मसुर॒त्वमेक॑म् ॥ (१)
पूर्ववर्तिनी उषा जब समाप्त होती है, तब अविनाशी सूर्य नामक महान्‌ ज्योति आकाश अथवा सागर से उत्पन्न होती है. इसके बाद देव-संबंधी कर्म आरंभ हो जाते हैं एवं यजमान देवों के समीप उपस्थित होते हैं. देवों का प्रमुख बल एक ही है. (१)
When the predecessor Usha ends, the great light named Indestructible Sun originates from the sky or the ocean. After this, the deva-related deeds begin and the hosts are present near the devas. The principal force of the gods is the same. (1)
