ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 23
विश्वे॒ हि त्वा॑ स॒जोष॑सो॒ जना॑सो वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषः । होता॑रं॒ सद्म॑सु प्रि॒यं व्यन्ति॒ वार्या॑ पु॒रु ॥ (३)
हे अग्नि! परस्पर प्रसन्न एवं कुश बिछाने वाले सब ऋत्विज्‌ यज्ञशाला में देवों को बुलाने वाले एवं सर्वप्रिय तुमसे उत्तम धन मांगते हैं. (३)
O agni! All those who are mutually happy and who are laying the kusha are the ones who call the gods in the yajnashala and the all-loving ask for the best money from you. (3)
