आ नाम॑भिर्म॒रुतो॑ वक्षि॒ विश्वा॒ना रू॒पेभि॑र्जातवेदो हुवा॒नः । य॒ज्ञं गिरो॑ जरि॒तुः सु॑ष्टु॒तिं च॒ विश्वे॑ गन्त मरुतो॒ विश्व॑ ऊ॒ती ॥ (१०)
हे जातवेद अग्नि! हमारे द्वारा आहूत होकर तुम विविध नाम एवं रूप धारण करने वाले मरुतों को यज्ञ में लाते हो. हे मरुतो! तुम सब अपने रक्षा साधनों सहित यजमान के यज्ञ, वाणी एवं शोभन स्तुतियों के समीप उपस्थित रहो. (१०)
O Jativeda Agni! Called by us, you bring the maruts who have different names and forms to the yagna. O Maruto! All of you, along with your means of protection, be present near the yajna, speech and adornment hymns of the host. (10)
