ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 91
पीवो॑अन्नाँ रयि॒वृधः॑ सुमे॒धाः श्वे॒तः सि॑षक्ति नि॒युता॑मभि॒श्रीः । ते वा॒यवे॒ सम॑नसो॒ वि त॑स्थु॒र्विश्वेन्नरः॑ स्वप॒त्यानि॑ चक्रुः ॥ (३)
शोभनबुद्धि वाले एवं अपने घोड़ों को आश्रय देने वाले श्वेतवर्ण वायु अधिक अन्न के स्वामी एवं धनसंपन्न व्यक्तियों की सेवा करते हैं. समान मन वाले वे लोग भी वायु के लिए यज्ञ करने के विचार से स्थित हैं एवं अपनी संतान को लाभ देने वाले कार्य कर चुके हैं. (३)
The white-coloured air, who is well-tempered and shelters his horses, serves the masters and wealthy people of more food. Those people with equal mind are also situated with the idea of performing yajna for the wind and have done things that benefit their children. (3)
