य ऋ॒ते चि॒द्गास्प॒देभ्यो॒ दात्सखा॒ नृभ्यः॒ शची॑वान् । ये अ॑स्मि॒न्काम॒मश्रि॑यन् ॥ (३९)
मित्र व शोभनकर्म वाले इंद्र ने गायों के पैरों के निशान न होने पर भी गाएं खोजकर देवों को दी थीं. देवों ने इंद्र के द्वारा अपनी अभिलाषा पूर्ण की. (३९)
Indra, a friend and a man of adornment, had searched for the cows even if there were no footprints of the cows and gave them to the devas. The gods fulfilled their desire through Indra. (39)
