अ॒ग्निं दू॒तं पु॒रो द॑धे हव्य॒वाह॒मुप॑ ब्रुवे । दे॒वाँ आ सा॑दयादि॒ह ॥ (३)
मैं देवों के दूत एवं हव्य वहन करने वाले अग्नि को अपने सामने स्थापित करता हूं तथा उनकी स्तुति करता हूं. वे इस यज्ञ में देवों को बैठावें. (३)
I set before me the angels of the gods and the agni that carries the wind and praise them. Let them sit the gods in this yajna. (3)
