सने॑मि॒ त्वम॒स्मदाँ अदे॑वं॒ कं चि॑द॒त्रिण॑म् । सा॒ह्वाँ इ॑न्दो॒ परि॒ बाधो॒ अप॑ द्व॒युम् ॥ (६)
हे सोम! तुम हमारे साथ पुरानी मित्रता निभाओ. नम्रताशून्य एवं अधिक खाने वाले राक्षस को हमसे दूर भगाओ. तुम शत्रुओं को पराजित करते हुए हमें बाधा पहुंचाने वाले लोगों को पीड़ित करो. तुम हमें बाहरी और भीतरी माया रखने वालों से बचाओ. (६)
Hey Mon! You make an old friendship with us. Drive away from us the gentle and overeating monster. You defeat the enemies and suffer those who hinder us. You save us from those who hold the outer and inner maya. (6)
