स पू॒र्व्यो व॑सु॒विज्जाय॑मानो मृजा॒नो अ॒प्सु दु॑दुहा॒नो अद्रौ॑ । अ॒भि॒श॒स्ति॒पा भुव॑नस्य॒ राजा॑ वि॒दद्गा॒तुं ब्रह्म॑णे पू॒यमा॑नः ॥ (१०)
प्राचीन, धन प्राप्त करने वाले, जन्म लेते ही जल में शुद्ध होने वाले, पत्थरों की सहायता से निचुड़ने वाले, शत्रुओं से रक्षा करने वाले, प्राणियों के राजा एवं यज्ञकर्म के लिए निचुड़ने वाले सोम यजमानों के मार्ग बताते हैं. (१०)
The ancients, the gainers of wealth, who are cleansed in the water as soon as they are born, those who are disposed of with the help of stones, those who protect from enemies, the king of beings, and those who leave for the yagnakarma, the ways of the soma hosts. (10)
