सामवेद (अध्याय 11)
पवस्व दक्षसाधनो देवेभ्यः पीतये हरे । मरुद्भ्यो वायवे मदः ॥ (१)
हे सोम! आप दक्ष, साधन संपन्न, उल्लास बढ़ाने वाले व बलवर्द्धक हैं. आप देवताओं के पीने के लिए बढ़ोतरी पाते हैं. आप मरुद्गणों के लिए प्रवाहित होइए. आप वायु के लिए प्रवाहित होइए. (१)
O Mon! You are skilled, resourceful, cheerful and strong. You find hikes to the drinking of the gods. You flow to the deserts. You flow for air. (1)
